QFest, Philadelphia's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival running July 12 - 20, 2012, is seeking someone to help with these functions. This is an excellent internship with a lot of independence. Previous experience in publicity, press, marketing and community relations needed.

Responsibilities include sending press releases and screeners out, working with the press to maximize exposure, and handling press badges during the festival.

Responsibilities include targeting as many gay/lesbian(/trans?) groups as possible and getting the word out to them in the most logical way. For example, for bar events, going and handing out flyers or for organizations, email blasts, etc.
