Our summer gay/lesbian film festival has a fifteen year old tradition of bringing together creative minds from around the world to the Philadelphia gay and lesbian film-loving community.
This year, we have a new name, a new attitude and a new location!
The Philadelphia QFest, July 8-July 19, 2010, will feature 150 films from 25 countries, The Prince Music Theater and Wilma Theater in Center City. With parties and gatherings every night, the Philadelphia QFest has become more than just a film festival; it has become a city-wide event!
As an advertiser, sponsor or donor, your business will be seen in 25,000 copies of the Philadelphia QFest program guide distributed throughout the tri-state area in addition to “out-of-region’ marketing campaign with assistance from the Deprtment of Community and Economic Development (DCED), State of Pennsylvania and PA Tourism. QFest will also mail program guides to all previous badge holders and ticket buyers for the past three years, numbering in the thousands.
To entice you more, we have discounted the advertising rates for this year’s summer festival in the challenging economy (for our rate sheet [click here]).
Through your advertisement, you will be identifying with a niche market that spends money attending events, dining out, enjoying night life, shopping and appreciating the arts and cultural offerings in the region.
Our partnerships with organizations and institutions in the city and surrounding areas have been expansive and diverse, in reaching beyond our city’s borders, with past support from the Atlantic City Tourism and Film Office, Consulate of Canada, the Embassy of France, and Quebec Tourism.
Our media coverage has also expanded, gaining the attention of national gay publications like The Advocate, OUT, Instinct, Cybersocket, mainstream outlets the Newark Star Ledger, METRO, NBC 10 to online sources like IndieWire, Film Festivals, PlanetOut and Gay.com
As a loyal supporter, we invite you to celebrate in the success of the festival. We look forward to having you join us again for the Philadelphia QFest 2010, July 8-July 19.
